Combining five years of experience in the world of marketing with ten years of experience advocating for student-driven learning, I help educators craft real-world curricula for high school and college students.

As an alumna of the Waukee APEX (Aspiring Professional Experience) program, I've benefited first-hand from practical, industry-specific learning. Using workshops, weeklong intensive projects, and actual client examples, I teach students professional and technical skills that prepare them for life after school and propel them into a career in marketing, communications, and beyond.

WORKPLACE MENTAL HEALTH
As someone affected by mental illness and invisible disabilities, I've spent years navigating complex and inequitable workplace environments. While I've always been a fierce advocate for mental health awareness, my own experiences have honed my passion for increasing mental health support and accommodations — in and out of the workplace.
Employee resource programs are popular bandaids to the growing mental health epidemic, but without internal education, resources, and support, these programs do little to help those who need it most.
My two-pronged approach combines an employee-driven action committee alongside tools and education for business leaders to create a foundation of structural support for all employees.
